Its been so long since I've seen you, come over darling!

Well; I've definitely neglected you!

I truly am sorry for the lack of blogging but not only does it take some getting used to I have also been a busy lil bunny trying to make a home in TV. I've got my self in the front door but not been able to take my shoes off and be comfy just yet!

A month ago I was given the opportunity to work on Red or Black as a stand in; which just generically means testing the games work and the logistics of the show (cameras, lights etc) whilst I was there I was fortunate enough to be asked if I would like to join the crew and work as a runner on the live shows. Of course I jumped at the chance and perhaps squished the girl who offered me the job in a heart felt hug lol. I had only been saying to my mum the week before how much I would like to work for Simon Cowell as I admire his ethics and career, then all of a sudden I was being offered a paid position with ITV in conjunction with SYCO, can you say amazing!?  During my time at the studios I briefly met Simon which was one of my most poignant memories of the production obviously tied in with having the like of Leona Lewis, Jessie J and Ant& Dec casually walk around in the corridor everyday. TV is a lot of hard work though, don't be fooled into thinking its all glitz and glamor, to get by you have to be resilient and leave any lazy attitudes at home; luckily I'm the type of person that can't help but smile and bounce back but a word of advice to those also like me are trying to break in, take every opportunity you can get, never think you are above any kind of work and don't be afraid to ask...I read somewhere Mr Cowell likes an opportunist...

Anyhoo just a catch blog on what I have been up to...amongst making fab friends at ITV and getting a lil work on TOWIE things are abso fabo!

In other news I had my interview for OBS so fingers crossed for that one; I've purchased two more Paulo Coelho books so will do a triple review on the books as well as the last book I read back in August.

Stay positive! xx
